Online Communication Services
Communication services provided through the Website, such as the directory, online communities, discussion boards, blogs, messaging, social and professional networking, and other services in the future, are a part of the Website designed for communication between Users. SET Education Technology Private Limited will not monitor these communications but reserves the right to take action against any User who defames or harasses another User through any of the services offered through the Website if it comes to SET Education Technology Private Limited’s attention. By submitting this form, you agree to receive SMS, RCS, and emails related to the college admission process.
Online Communities
SET Education Technology Private Limited provides a platform on which alumni can create and join online alumni communities based on shared interests or experiences. Participants in online alumni communities may not represent or imply that their opinions represent those of SET Education Technology Private Limited. SET Education Technology Private Limited reserves the right to remove all or any portion of an online alumni community’s information from the platform at any time and at SET Education Technology Private Limited’s sole discretion. All online alumni community participants and organizers agree not to post or facilitate the posting of any material in violation of these Terms of Use. Online alumni community participants and organizers also agree to provide reasonable assistance at the request of SET Education Technology Private Limited and its representatives to address any violations of this policy as determined by SET Education Technology Private Limited. Participants and organizers also agree not to use the online alumni community for any activity that violates any federal, state or local law.
Disclaimer of Warranty / Limitation of Liability
SET Education Technology Private Limited does not warrant that the Website will operate in an uninterrupted or error-free manner or that the Website is free of viruses or other harmful components. Use of information obtained from or through these websites is at your own risk.

Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the update on SET Education Technology Private Limited’s Services. Your continued use of SET Education Technology Private Limited’s Services after receipt of such revised Terms of Use will be deemed an acceptance of the changes.
Access to SET Education Technology Private Limited resources
During your time with SET Education Technology Private Limited, you would have access to multiple people/ resources that help you learn better. The access policy may vary across those.
Following is the policy for each of those resources:
Class recordings / Recording of mentor sessions / Recording of TA sessions / Recording of masterclasses: We guarantee access to all recordings till 6 months post-completion of your last mandatory class with SET Education Technology Private Limited (as part of the program you joined), provided that, if there are any unforeseen circumstances, we will give you a 30-day notice to download videos. SET Education Technology Private Limited may at its discretion extend the access period beyond 6 months as well, if it deems fit.
Mentors: You will have access to schedule 1:1 mentor sessions for career track for a total of 8 sessions. However, the access to schedule these sessions is not forever. All sessions not scheduled to happen till 3-month post-completion of your last mandatory class with SET Education Technology Private Limited (as part of the program you joined) lapse. In other words, you cannot schedule any mentor session post the last mandatory class time + 3 months.
Mock Interviews through Experts: You get a total of 12 mock interviews through experts. Similar to the 1:1 Career track mentor sessions, Expert mock interviews can only be taken till 3 months post-completion of your last mandatory class. In other words, you cannot do any mock interview post the last mandatory class time + 6 months.
TA Support: TA support is available to you throughout your SET Education Technology Private Limited journey even when you have paused your course. You can also seek help from the community in Slack / WhatsApp groups and chances are that you will find help from peers / other learners (Disclaimer: SET Education Technology Private Limited does not guarantee a response from other learners/peers).
Community Groups: You will continue to have access to the community groups created by SET Education Technology Private Limited forever (unless for some reason, the platforms themselves cease to exist - for example, if Slack shuts down / WhatsApp shuts down, then SET Education Technology Private Limited does not have any liability).
Assignments / Notes: You will continue to have access to your assignments and notes taken during the SET Education Technology Private Limited course forever. In an unforeseen circumstance where SET Education Technology Private Limited might have to revoke access to this data, you will be given a 30-day notice to download all assignments you attempted, your code, and all notes you took.
Career opportunities: Learners at SET Education Technology Private Limited are connected to relevant job opportunities through the following channels:
Community groups where an alumni/peer/mentor/TA might post job opportunities and can connect you if there is relevance.
Recruiters discover you through the SET Education Technology Private Limited Talent portal. Every learner gets a free profile on SET Education Technology Private Limited Talent Portal which has exclusive access to a select set of recruiters in a select set of companies. If they find your profile interesting, they try to get in touch with you. (Note that you can mark yourself as inactive/active on this portal post-completion of the program).
Finally, there are a set of companies that SET Education Technology Private Limited might work with directly to help them hire. In such an engagement, there is an internal SET Education Technology Private Limited team that helps facilitate connections to hiring companies. Help from this channel is not available once you have completed 6 months post-completion of your last mandatory class (as part of the program you enrolled in).
SET Education Technology Private Limited also has the right to withdraw access to the above resources if you withdraw from the course, breach the ToS set out herein, or in the event of termination or suspension of your account. It is important to note that SET Education Technology Private Limited does not take any placement guarantee. More details are in the placement policy document.
Refund Policy
The application fee that the applicant pays to SET Education Technology Private Limited [Vedam School of Technology] at the time of filling the application is non refundable.
A customer may choose to opt out of the program and request a refund for the tuition fees paid. The refund will be processed in accordance with the refund policy of the university campus selected at the time of completing the application form. To initiate the refund process, please send an email to connect@vedam.org.
For more information on campus specific refund policy, the applicant is advised to visit the official website of the respective university campus.
Termination of Service
User may terminate this Agreement by cancelling his or her account. To do this the user must contact SET Education Technology Private Limited through phone or mail as listed below.
SET Education Technology Private Limited may terminate your account or access rights to the Website at any time, without notice, for conduct that SET Education Technology Private Limited believes violates this Agreement or other policies or guidelines that SET Education Technology Private Limited has posted. SET Education Technology Private Limited may terminate your account or your access rights to the Website for online conduct that SET Education Technology Private Limited believes is harmful to other Users, to SET Education Technology Private Limited’s business, or to other information providers.
Trademarks
The logo, name and all graphics on the Website or its affiliates are trademarks of SET Education Technology Private Limited or its affiliates. You must not use, reproduce, copy, or redistribute such marks without the prior written permission of SET Education Technology Private Limited or its affiliates.
